Michael Wilcox enjoyed a long career in the photographic industry finishing his career as an associate director for Pentax USA. In 2008 he began a second career as a fine art photographer. Michael strives to keep his photographs simple but nuanced. Subject matter can be anything but composition must be direct. Michael’s photographs has been published in national publications including USA Today and he has won multiple national awards from the Photographic Society of America. He is recognized as a Master 2 level photographer by the Loveland Photographic Society where he has served as competition chair and the mentor chair. He was awarded first place, photography at the Thompson Valley Art League's Regional Fine Art Show and the Cheyenne Railroad Museum annual Rail Art Show. He has been accepted in the Colorado Governor's art show twice in the last three years. Mike's work is on permanent display at the Lincoln gallery in Loveland and he will be offering his work at art shows in Berthoud, Greeley, Loveland and Estes Park in 2017.
