Michael Wilcox retired from Pentax USA after 28 years in 2007 and began a second career in 2008 as a fine art photographer.
He has been twice accepted to the Colorado Governor's Art Show with multiple sales of his work each time. He was the only photographer of 55 artists in the 2017 show.
His work has also been published in USA Today and other magazines and he has earned multiple awards and medals from the Photographic Society of America and the Loveland Photographic Society where he serves as mentor chair.
Michael's work is on permanent display at the Lincoln gallery at 429 N. Lincoln Ave in Loveland, CO.
